Why Weed the Civil
War?

There are
two things school libraries can count on about the topic of the Civil War:
1) materials will be in demand for school assigned reports and 2)
publishers will continue to supply the market with a stream of new titles
each year. You probably have a relatively large selection of titles on the
Civil War--many of them well-worn from years of reports. The trick is to
weed the old and update this section without disruption to students and
teachers.
