[R3librarians] Opportunity for Secondary Librarians

Terri Smith-Chavira, Secondary Reading Specialist at
Region III ESC, is hosting an afternoon workshop on Friday, November 3rd
and she'd like to invite secondary librarians to join her and secondary
reading teachers for this event.

If you are already planning on
attending the DKC workshop that morning, the addition of this workshop
would make a full day of training for you.

description of the workshop: (see more details on attached flyer)

The objective of this
meeting is to establish a "Community" of 8th-11th grade Region
III Reading teachers. This meeting will begin a journey of regional
networking in order to build partnerships, collect best practices,
evaluate new techniques, share professional readings, and exchange
successful stategies for reaching ALL students. 

There is no charge for this workshop.
