<strong><font face="Comic Sans MS" color="#ff0000" size="4">March 5th
Database Integration Workshop</font></strong><br />Workshop #26906
Instructional Cookbook, which was originally scheduled on March 5th and
focused on how to integrate the K12 databases into the curriculum,
<strong>has been rescheduled for March 26th</strong>. The workshop is
being recheduled because TEA rescheduled the TAKS test from March 4th to
March 5th. The training is being presented by Susanna Garza, the lead
consultant for the K12 Database program at Region 20. <strong>The new
workshop number is 27069 and the title is: <em>Instructional
Cookbook: Whipping Up Instructional Recipes Using the
K12 Databases</em>.</strong> The training will involve both Ebsco and
EB databases and will be held at the Dudley Elementary computer lab in
Victoria. It is open to all districts.<br /><br /><strong><font
face="Comic Sans MS" color="#800080" size="4">Upcoming K12 Database
Workshops and Opportunities<br /></font></strong>There are three workshops
scheduled at cluster sites next week. <strong>If you need to attend the
training in Hallettsville, Kenedy, or Bay City, please sign up
now.</strong> On Feb. 28th, trainings are scheduled at Weimar and Rice

/></font></strong>If you are in an elementary school, please remind your
teachers that tonight is the<strong> 2008 Textbook Preview Night from 5:30
to 8:30 p.m. at Howell Middle School in Victoria (across the street from
ESC III). Up for adoption this year are elementary mathematics books
(K-5).</strong> Eight publishers are joining us tonight and giving
presentations on their products. The event is open to the public and there
is no admission charge.<br /><br /><font face="Comic Sans MS"
color="#ff00ff" size="4"><strong>Citation Machine</strong></font><br
/>Tammy Frietsch, the technology coordinator at Yoakum ISD, shared this
site discovered by Yoakum teacher <font size="2">Alexandra Schoenemann. <a
href="http://www.citationmachine.net"><strong>www.citationmachine.net</strong></a>
allows you to select a citation style, fill out the information form, and
then the program gives you the citation in the format you've requested.
